First Offerings is a introductory program to help families begin their journey in Christian stewardship and almsgiving.
The delegates of the 5th Youth Sobor saw a need within our youth to develop a better understanding of stewarship in their lives, communities and the church. First Offerings was one of the ideas they suggested as a way for families to begin this process within the home!
How does it work! Read the program below. It is also provided in a downloadable pdf.
Parishes were provided with labels for the First Offering Jars. If your parish or family is in need of a label, you can download the First Offering logo and print at home or contact the OYM Office for labels.
