With the blessing of the His Eminence Metropolitan Antony, the Consistory Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry has begun a review of their work in the on-going effort to improving their work on behalf of the Church. The first step in this review process is an extensive survey effort to discover several key elements for moving into the future. These elements include:
- Where do our parishes currently stand with youth ministry?
- What is our youth, young adult and family involvement in parish life?
- What are the struggles of our youth, young adults and families?
- What brings our youth and young adults closer to Christ and His Church?
- What resources are needed by clergy, youth workers and parishes to better serve their faithful?
These are some of the main areas that will be covered in the surveys. The surveys have been created to gather the widest range of insight and have been tailored to each specific audience. The surveys are offered for the following groups:
- Pre-School/Kindergarden/Adaptive
- Children ages 6-8
- Children ages 9 – 12
- Teenagers 13 – 18
- Young Adults 18 – 29
- Clergy
- Parents
- Youth Workers
To gain the best picture of the needs and strengths in our youth work, we require as many faithful as possible to participate in the survey process. If an adult fits into more than one category, it would be greatly appreciated if they take the survey in each area, as the survey ARE different.
The results of the survey will be used to aid in planning the scope of work for the Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for the coming years.

Please, I appeal to all clergy, parish boards of administration and faithful of the Church: take a few minutes of your time and help the Church to care for her Youth.

З благословення Високопреосвященнішого Митрополита Антонія відділ праці Консисторії в справах опіки молоддю розпочав огляд їхньої роботи в рамках постійних зусиль, спрямованих на вдосконалення служіння від імені Церкви.
Першим кроком у цьому процесі огляду є великі зусилля щодо опитування, щоб виявити кілька ключових елементів для праці в майбутньому. Ці елементи включають:
- Де в даний час стоять наші парафії із служінням молоді?
- Яка участь нашої молоді, дорослої молоді та сім’ї у парафіяльному житті?
- У чому полягає боротьба нашої молоді, дорослих та родин?
- Що наближує нашу молодь та молодь до Христа та Його Церкви?
- Які ресурси потрібні духовенству, молодіжним працівникам та парафіям, щоб краще служити своїм вірним?
Це деякі основні сфери, які будуть охоплені в ході опитувань. Опитування були створені для того, щоб зібрати найширший спектр розумінь і були пристосовані для кожної конкретної аудиторії.
Опитування пропонуються для таких груп:
- Дошкільний / Дитячий садок / Адаптивний
- Діти 6-8 років
- Діти віком 9 - 12 років
- Підлітки 13 - 18
- Молоді люди 18 - 29
- Духовенство
- Батьки
- Працівники з молоддю
Щоб отримати найкраще уявлення про потреби та сили в нашій молодіжній роботі, ми просимо якнайбільше вірних взяти участь у процесі опитування.
Якщо доросла людина входить до кількох категорій, ми були б дуже вдячні, якщо б вони взяли опитування в кожній сфері, оскільки опитування РІЗНІ.
Результати опитування будуть використані для планування обсягу роботи відділу праці Консисторії в справах опіки молоддю та дорослими на найближчі роки. Опитування можна знайти на www.uocyouth.org.
